  1. Who is Zoom?
Zoom is a boy of twelve who likes to draw strip cartoons (comics).
    What is The Zoom?
The Zoom is the name of a comic.
    Who is Boris Johnson?
    The Mayor of London.
Who was top of the Vogue 2013 Hot List?
    A band called The Strypes.
Who lives at 10 Downing Street?
    The Prime Minister (David Cameron).
    Which is your favourite sitcom?
I really do not like sitcoms, they are so futile/silly/boring/unreal, though I sometimes laugh at the melodrama of Eastenders.
What would you have preferred your forename to be?
    Hieronymus.
    What is the Beano?
It is a children’s comic created in the 1930s which is widely read in the UK.
What is your favourite comic book (describe why you like it so much: characters, stories, art work, etc.)?
I very much like Blake and Mortimer. The eponymous characters are real heroes, courageous and intelligent, who have to save the world in each episode. The style of drawing is simple but very expressive. The pastel colours evoke the Britain of the 1950s very effectively. The intrigues are incredibly complex, and there’s a wonderful mixture of magic, history, science and science fiction. And the villains are really horrible; I especially like the heroes’ nemesis: Colonel Olrik.
Do you like to draw and/or write stories?
I do, but I do not have much time to draw or write at the moment.
